Meet Danny!
Danny Martin was born in the foothills of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in England, is obsessed with shoes, and makes a Yorkshire pudding his mum would describe as “not bad”. In 2016, alongside his beautiful wife of 22 years Alexandra and their two brave sons, Danny ventured across the pond and started to build a new community on Vancouver Island. Having completed his Masters in English Pedagogy at UVic Danny now works as a Drama, Film & Television teacher at a local high school.
Danny is a highly experienced public speaker and MC and brings fresh and bright energy, passion, and professionalism to his work as an officiant. Danny has a deep respect for heritage and tradition, paired with an impressive ability to reimagine old customs into relevancy. Working alongside Danny, modern couples and families are given a sense of authenticity and personal meaning as they mark life's big moments.

“Danny was the perfect choice as an officiant for our wedding! He was so easy to work with, and he made the whole process super comfortable for us. My husband and I were probably the most stressed out about the ceremony - standing up in front of 120 people and having to recite vows to each other in front of a large crowd isn’t really our thing. But Danny assured me from our very first call that this is the exact reason that he loves to officiate weddings! He really took the time to get to know us and our background story, and he made sure to check in with us regularly as we got closer to our wedding date.
